What is VII, in one sentence
The Value Investing Index scores a stock on where its price sits relative to its own valuation history — not against other stocks.
VII (the Value & Investment Index) is a 0–100 score that describes one thing only: where a stock's current price sits within its own trailing 52-week trading range. Nothing about the score comes from comparing it to other stocks, a sector average, or the broader market.
A score near 0 means the price is close to its own 52-week low — cheap relative to itself. A score near 100 means it's close to its own 52-week high — expensive relative to itself. The 52-week window is a rolling one: it's recalculated daily and always looks strictly at the days before today, so today's price never defines its own boundary.
It's worth being explicit about what this isn't. VII isn't a sentiment or mood gauge, and it isn't a prediction. It's a positioning fact, computed from real price history, that tells you where you're standing before you decide anything else.
VII and Fundamental Score are technical/informational indicators for your own research — they are not investment advice and should not be the sole basis for a buy or sell decision. Please consult your investment advisor.
