Reading the band labels
Weak, moderate, good, strong — the same four fixed thresholds for every stock, quality and profitability rolled into one number.
Fundamental Score maps onto four bands: Weak (below 30), Moderate (30–50), Good (50–70), and Strong (70 and above). These thresholds are fixed — the same numbers apply to every stock in the universe, regardless of sector.
That's a real difference from VII's zones. VII's scale diverges at both ends — very cheap and very expensive are both flagged as noteworthy, in opposite directions. Fundamental Score is monotonic: higher is always better, full stop, with no equivalent of an "too good, be careful" zone at the top.
In practice this means a Strong-band industrial company and a Strong-band FMCG company were held to the identical bar to get there — the label describes the business's own quality and profitability, not how it stacks up against sector-typical numbers.
