Building a watchlist from zone + score together
The two-column filter behind today's value-stocks table — zone first, fundamentals second.
Put the last seven lessons together and the practical filter is genuinely simple: start with VII zone (Value or Deep Value) to find stocks trading cheap relative to their own history, then require a Fundamental Score of Good or Strong to keep only the ones where the business itself still checks out.
Zone first, score second, in that order, because VII narrows a universe of thousands down to a short list of "currently cheap" candidates, and Fundamental Score is the filter that separates the ones worth researching further from the ones that are cheap for a reason covered in the last two lessons.
This isn't a hypothetical — it's the exact screen behind the Research page's default value-investing view (VII ≤ 30 and Fundamental Score ≥ 70), and it's available as a one-click preset in the screener too.
VII and Fundamental Score are technical/informational indicators for your own research — they are not investment advice and should not be the sole basis for a buy or sell decision. Please consult your investment advisor.
